    MDS314 Dewatering Screw Press Introduction
    MDS314 dewatering screw press which the main part of the dehydrator is a filter device that a screw runs through the stacked fixed rings and moving ring.
    The small gaps between fixed rings and moving ring can filter the sludge, and the lumen between screw and rings is filled with polymer grains. The moving ring transfers the sludge to the end of the machine with pressure and extrudes sludge cakes.
    The running of the screw drives the moving ring to clean the gaps and avoid jam.

    MDS314 Dewatering Screw Press Working Principle
    Thickening: When the shaft is driven by the screw, moving rings around the shaft move up and down relatively. Most water is pressed out from the thickening zone and fall  down to the filtrate tank for gravity.

(Replacement cycle of vulnerable part is calculated as 365 days per year, 8 hours/day of running time.)

    MDS314 Dewatering Screw Press FAQ

    Over All Unit
    The over all unit of multi-disk screw press is made up of SS304 material, with smooth surface. Laser cutting technician ensures the evenness of machine surface. Not as other suppliers, they use cheap excess materials instead,our machine uses brand new steel plate. Fine welding and surface polish are done to the multi-disk screw press, which you can see it in our workshop.

    In details, we adopt humanization design. We uses cap screw in case of scratch In misoperation. And even the cross walls use laser cutting to ensure horizontal evenness.

     

    Rings
    To ensure the flatness of all the rings, we have 2 step of process, the mechanical shaping and manual shaping. First of all, mechanical shaping is done to the rings by imported processing equipment from Switzerland. Then manual shaping is done to control the deviation of evenness under 0.01mm.Beveling is done after shaping, in order to increase contacting area between screw shaft and the rings, and promote treatment effenciency thus increase service life of rings and screw.

    Only AMCON and our company have  the two process steps for shaping, other manufacturers do not have this process.

    The rings in dewatering zone are of SS304 hard state stainless steel, with HV 380-420(HRC 40)(ordinary stainless steel HV is around 180).The rings will go out of shape under the push from the screw shaft and pressure of the conicalness. SS304 hard state stainless steel is of high strength and elasticity, can increase the service life.The rings also got chamfering process treatment, to form a maximum contacting area.

     

    Spray Tube and Nozzle
    Spray tube uses SS304 steel, mirror polished.
    The nozzle part. It took us a lot of efforts to find a professional nozzle supplier who can supply good quality nozzles, and finally we choose IKEUCHI. Its nozzles can achieve well-distributed spray, can achieve solid cone effect, which is better than stainless steel nozzle suppliers we used to have, but the price tripled.
